About Jacqueline Urquidez
Education
Jacqueline Urquidez received a B.F.A in Dance with a Concentration in Education and holds a Colorado K-12 Teaching License. Jacqueline's academic experience ranges in dance technique & performance, choreography, pedagogy, and directing. She student taught at Greeley Central High School alongside dance teacher and professor Christy O'Connell Black and has expanded her dance education experience through all forms of performance and production spaces.
Work Experience
She currently is full-time dance faculty at Studio West Dance Center and Impulse Dance and Fitness and has worked with Authentic Grooves Dance Company. She is a guest dance teacher for VYB Dance Classes in Fort Collins and is a guest choreographer for a CSU theatre production. She has also worked at her home studio, The Dance Centre, in Orange, CA as a teacher and choreographer.
Skills
She has 18 years of dance experience including choreographing and performing in multiple Colorado State University Dance Productions, performance and showcasing choreography in two American College Dance Association Conferences, and dance festival performances. She also loves music and video editing, directing, and singing.
